The short version

Moodscape has no accounts, no forms and no analytics. The sound is generated in your browser, so nothing you do on this site is uploaded anywhere. The only third party involved is our advertising partner, described below.

What Moodscape stores

• Your last mood — so the page opens the way you left it.
• Your volume setting — for the same reason.

Both values are kept in your browser's local storage on your device. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Advertising

Moodscape is free and shows two ad banners to cover its costs. When the banners are served by Google AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

• You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.
• Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message before any advertising cookies are set, as required by law.

What Moodscape does not do

• No accounts, no sign-up, no personal data collected by the site itself.
• No analytics or tracking scripts of our own.
• No selling or sharing of data — we never see any to begin with.
